2012 Week 11 5* NFL Picks: SAINTS -5.5, Packers -3.5 #nflonedotcom #nfl

If you missed out last week, you have a second chance with the streaking NEW ORLEANS SAINTS, who are most recently 9-1 ATS in the second half of the season. The Saints arriving 4-1 ATS in their last five games by averaging over 385 yards per game. On the other hand, the Oakland Raiders, arrive 2-3 ATS in their last five games, outscored by an average of 7 points per game. With both of these teams averaging less than 95 rushing yards per game in their last five games, this game will be fought through the air early. The Raiders, who have only had success on the Road over the last two seasons in Kansas City and Jacksonville, will try to take advantage of a Saints defense allowing over 469 yards per game, but fall short of competing with Brees, who is back on track with a 97.3 rating.

All you have to do is listen to the Radio to know that the DETROIT LIONS have been a disappointment. Although they have powered over 406 yards per game, they have been outscored by over 3 points per game. Since Seattle, the Green Bay Packers have gone 5-1 SU; the Packers outscoring their last five opponents by an average of 9 points per game. Arriving 5-0 ATS in their last five versus the NFC North, the Packers defense is powering 28 sacks, while its offensive line has struggled in allowing 29. Arriving nearly perfect at 8-1 ATS in games where the spread is -5.5 to +4, Rodgers, 107 rating, on 25 touchdowns, will test the Lions 2nd ranked Home passing defense, and ultimately prove to be too much for the Lions, who open 1-5 ATS in their last six Home games in this series.
