Although the Giants, 10-2 ATS off a SU win, arrive having scored 25 points in 4th quarter for a 41-34 Week 2 win on Manning’s 510 yards, the injuries to Diehl, Nicks, and Hixon, has seen the spread move from 1 pt Favorites to as much as 3 pt Underdogs. Although the Panthers also bounced back last week, Newton was actually only 14-of-20 throws for 253 yards. Having rushed for 71 yards, including top of Williams and Stewart’s 120 yards on 25 carries, the Panthers will hit a brick wall this week against a healthy Giants defensive line. Having allowed 486 yards of total offense, the Giants, 5-0 SU in their last 5 Road games on the road, 7-1 SU in their last 8 games, will rely teamwork, and a short ball control offense, to keep their winning streak alive.
